Whipped Cream Dispenser & Chargers User Manual

1. Before First Use

  • Read the dispenser manufacturer instructions together with this manual
  • Wash the bottle, head, gasket and decorating tips in warm soapy water and rinse
  • Check that the head gasket sits flat and that the pressure stick and valve move freely
  • Use only 8 g food-grade N2O chargers marked E942 / food grade

2. Preparing Whipped Cream

Use well-chilled whipping cream (30-36% fat). Fill the dispenser no higher than the maximum line to leave headspace for gas. Add sugar and flavourings as syrups or fine powder; avoid undissolved solids that can block the valve.

  • 0.25 L dispenser: about 250 mL cream, one 8 g charger
  • 0.5 L dispenser: about 500 mL cream, one to two 8 g chargers
  • Screw the charger holder straight until the gas releases with a short hiss
  • Shake 6-10 times vertically; over-shaking turns cream buttery

3. Dispensing

  • Hold the dispenser upside down with the nozzle against the serving
  • Press the lever gently; use short bursts rather than a long press
  • Re-shake lightly between portions if the flow slows
  • Refrigerate the charged dispenser upright and consume within 5 days

4. Safety Warnings

  • Never inhale from chargers or dispensers - intentional inhalation can cause serious injury or death
  • Keep chargers and charged dispensers away from children
  • Do not use chargers for anything other than food-service whipping equipment
  • Never heat, pierce, burn or freeze a charger; never use damaged dispensers
  • Do not carbonate warm or hot liquids in a cream whipper

5. Cleaning & Maintenance

First discharge any remaining pressure into a sink by pressing the lever. Unscrew the charger holder and confirm the spent charger drops out. Remove the head, gasket, valve and tip, wash in warm soapy water, rinse and air-dry. Do not immerse the complete head if the manufacturer prohibits it.

  • Replace the gasket if it becomes sticky, cracked or flattened
  • Lubricate only with food-grade silicone grease where instructed
  • Store fully disassembled and dry to protect the seal

6. Troubleshooting

  • Cream stays liquid: Not shaken enough, cream too warm or fat content too low
  • Gas escapes while charging: Gasket misaligned or worn; re-seat or replace it
  • Buttery / grainy texture: Over-shaken or cream too cold; reduce shaking
  • Blocked nozzle: Undissolved sugar or particles; clean the valve and tip
  • Charger not pierced: Holder cross-threaded; screw straight until hissing stops

7. Disposal

Spent 8 g chargers are empty steel and may be recycled with metals where local rules accept. Place them in the metal recycling stream, never in general glass recycling. Do not attempt to refill disposable chargers.
